WHERE THE PASSION FOR THE SEA MEETS EXCELLENCE
Since the 1930s, our experience has been at the service of the sea

history
A love story between the sea and the Lorenzoni family that has lasted for over 90 years
Specialists in workboats and ship carpentry, the Lorenzoni Shipyard in Livorno has been involved in the marine diesel engine repair sector since the 1930s.
After World War II, the business began selling Ansaldo engines and from the early 1960s, VM engines, initially for work and later for leisure. In the following years, there was a need to combine sales with mechanical workshop services for the assembly and outfitting of work and leisure boats.
The workshop's activity increased, and gradually, the company specialized in outfitting and all related work surrounding the naval industry. From this decades-long experience in the sector, the idea and realization of complete steel boats emerged.

The history of the shipyard since the early 2000s
In the 2000s, the shipyard was relocated inside the Port of Livorno, where, in addition to ironwork, it also handles naval and nautical refitting of boats made of both iron and fiberglass and wood, thanks to new and specialized craftsmen.
Today, the Lorenzoni Shipyard, with its third generation, continues its sales, assistance, and spare parts warehouse activities for marine engines and generators. With its new 7,000 square meter shipyard and a 150-ton travel lift, it offers a complete service of hauling, launching, winter storage, and work on all types of boats, both work and leisure, up to 35 meters in length.
